Cory Schifter, owner of Casale Jewelers, is hosting the 7th annual Race for the Ring where one lucky couple will win a Verragio style D-120 from the Parisian Collection set with a Stunning Round Brilliant cut diamond in the Center valued at $10,000. Each year has a different spin and Schifter and the race sponsors feel this will be there best year yet.
To enter the contest, couple are required submit their photo on Facebook using their Photo Contest app. You can access the page using this link: http://woobox.com/9iabn4. Starting January 20th, couples can sign up to enter the contest and the voting will begin on February 1st and end on February 20th. The top couples with the most votes will move on to the next round.
Schifter shared, “We’re promoting teamwork. What better way to start a life together than racing as a perfect team?” Schifter is passionate about this event and looks forward to sharing a special moment with the winning couple. He’s also gathered a team of designers and event specialists who will sponsor contests and prizes for the contestants. They include Verragio Engagement Rings and Wedding Bands, Nicotra’s Ballroom, Platinum Entertainment, Joey G’s Memories Video, Carroll’s Florist, A.F. Bennett Salon and Wellness Spa.
As part of the contest, Schifter also coordinates a Comedy Night to benefit local charities in which he acknowledges the couples and raises money to give back to the local community.
“In the last 6 years, we have raised over $90,000 for local charities here on Staten Island. We are excited to eclipse $100,000 given back to our local community. It’s a great way to not only help one lucky couple take their relationship to the next level, but also to help and support our community.”
